Hey guys and gals:

Haven't been posting, because I am told to not play. My shoulder problem and bicep tendonitis is back with a vengeance. I have a bone frag in my shoulder and they won't operate, too small...rest and therapy. Painful to see my gear and can't use it. I tried to play a couple times = intense arm/shoulder pain. Ugh.

Unfortunately, work comes first and I must save my writing hand etc., for being a professor. Just bought a 7-string too. Oh well.

Back sometime soon.

Sorry to hear that Dark. Maybe it's time to learn lap steel? ;)

I was half-joking, but then I started remembering seeing some lap players wail.  Plus you can still have a wall of Marshall stacks!!

Sorry to hear that D. I feel your pain as I've had bouts of tendonitis that have taken me out for months.
Our newest, River, (another Corgi) suggests playing Jeff Healy style. I use to play a 6 string that way off
and on when I was a teen and it gave me a new way of looking at the neck.

 Get well soon.

  Cheers, J

River says cheer up and try some Healy style

Pretty much my right arm/shoulder I have to baby, I've had two "tendon release" surgeries, cortisone, years of braces, and then it went away but it keeps coming back. This time, I made it worse as I had 7 classes to teach and I am sure that helped push me over the top.

Thanks guys for the support. I usually respond to meds, so in time, I am sure I will be back.

That's an awesome pup, what a great looking Corgi, Jeff. I sure do love my Dutch Shepherd, Ozzy. He never barks, sheds, or has accidents, and loves everyone.

Not so good mate, hopefully it gets better soon.

I feel your pain as my shoulder is still at the point where playing is not possible. Everytime I do a job around the house or play with the kids I get another pain shooting through it and it sets me back yet again.

I see you lips moving but all I hear is BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

Just wondering how you've been Howie? Keep us in the loop. Thinking of you and hoping for a decent recovery as
your guitars have missed you I'm sure.
  Best wishes,

    Cheers, Jeff
